In his speech, Prime Minister Ciolacu says: "The Holocaust is one of the most horrific tragedies in the history of the world.
There can be no excuse for those who cynically and cold-bloodedly sent their own brothers to their deaths while defaming, humiliating, and excluding them from society. We must not forget how hatred and antisemitism poisoned systems and societies in the past, including in Romania. I promise that I will never allow these atrocities to be repeated. Romanian society will not repeat these mistakes."
